Farah al-Kalim is the newest Ambassador from the Mezrani Empire to Rosemoor Dell. As a member of the Diplomatic Corps, she represents the interests of the Imperial Authority anywhere she goes, enforcing Imperial law, negotiating treaties and deals, and reporting back any findings of interest to Mezrani City.

Farah is one of several siblings in the powerful al-Kalim clan. She grew up in wealth and luxury, splitting her time between her family estates in Taza and their second home in Mezrani City, the capital of the Empire. Her parents are both influential nobles, holding seats on the powerful councils which influence the Imperial Authority.
A stellar student, Farah always excelled, picking up languages and history as easily as breathing. In fact, she is fluent in four languages, and her quick mind made her a prime candidate for the competitive Diplomatic Corps. Determined not to be outshined by her older siblings, several of whom had gone on to become officers in the Imperial Army, Farah jumped at the chance to hold an esteemed position in the Corps.
Unlike many Mezrani, though her family is influential and large, Farah is not particularly close to her parents. While clan ties are considered of paramount importance to most Tanu, she grew up with parents who were too busy to spend much time at home. Independence suited her quite nicely, and to this day Farah is known among her peers for her self-sufficiency. While most nobles prefer to be waited on hand and foot, she has no problem taking care of herself.
